Greetings everybody,

I hope You're having a great day and I thank You for visiting my web site.
It's this time of the year that I feel the need to update my web site and to let You know of my plans for 2011.

First of all I'm very happy to 'close' last year with a successful tour in Slovenia and Austria with the great Vincent Herring. The tour was short but very sweet! I will work on bringing Vincent back, I promise, but for the near future there are some other plans in progress.

I'm still very excited to have performed at The Tel Aviv International Jazz Festival with Arik Strauss Trio. It's a great festival that includes many great artists (this year Boris Kozlov - CAUTION! Hard Hat Area! Bassist was there playing with George Colligan Trio plus Jaleel Shaw), and I'm working on getting a gig with my band next year!

The second very excited thing is that I'm going to NEW YORK in April. I will record a new CD with my friends The Swingers of Jazz vol.2 that will honor a special guest LEW TABACKIN.
I hope to see all of my New York friends and catch up with them and hopefully also play with them.

In May I will be a guest on a project that is led by a great alt saxophonist Miro Kadoic, who will be presented by HRT Big Band. You can follow this project on HRT Big Band's web site.

I will also be playing in smaller format (quartet) with Miro Kadoic and in other groups at that time. I will post my schedule on myspace and facebook.

My visit to Slovenia in May will also be a great excuse to make another BRUSH WORKSHOP. A whole year has passed since my last workshop and I think it's time to do another one.
That being said I have to inform you that my BRUSH BOOK is getting a new look! My dear friend Koji is the photographer and designer for the book and we both will work very hard and try to make the book ready for the May workshop.

In June there will be time for romanticism since my dear Galia is taking me to Paris for ten days. She says it's her second home and she really needs to show it to me. I was in Paris playing with Zoran Predin about ten years ago and I admit it really is time for me to see it again, this time through amazing eyes of my smart and lovely Galia.

July is time for home and holidays. As usual I will be in Slovenia when my family comes together in July to celebrate birthdays and to just enjoy the summer and the grill :-)

This is my travel plan for the first half of 2011. In the mean time I will be staying in Tel Aviv where I'll be finishing my book, play with different great Israeli musicians, swim in the sea (Mediterranean and Dead Sea) and stay out of politics.
